From day one, I felt that BMW 230e was overpowered for a car of this short wheelbase and would require some mastery to keep it tamed, especially when driving RWD on electric .
After covering 10K kms on my Msport 230e, I have decided that the factory installed Bridgestone Turanza 005 225/50 R18 tyres are performing way too poor.
On edrive, regardless of road surface being wet or dry, car oversteers / drifts instantly at the slightest overtouch on the accelerator. Thanks to ESP it catches the line, yet I feel unsafe running on them.
I doubt that BMW would install those outdated tyres on their EU market cars, yet Turkey and alike countries are not regarded as worthy of having Vredestein Ultracs of Conti PC7s etc.
I would like to know, if there are any 230e-225e drivers here who have tried EV certified tyres on their cars and feel satisfied with them.
